10 Days Exclusive Tour Bukit Lawang and Lake Toba
Itinerary
Day One
Arrive at Kuala Namu International Airport or Medan hotel.
Welcomed by our representative /driver guide. Drive to Bukit
Lawang the Orangutans located in Gunung Leuser National Park through by
landscape with vast view of palm oil and rubber plantation. En-route it’s
possible to stop at rubber, oil palm and cacao plantations with some
countryside landscape (optional). Arrive in Bukit Lawang, check in hotel.
Day Two
After breakfast around 9am, ready for five day trek. (
trekking itinerary ).
Day Three
Jungle trekking.
Day Four
Jungle trekking.
Day Five
Jungle trekking.
Day Six
This day back from five-day jungle trekking.
Day Seven
In the morning after breakfast at 09:00 am get ready for
journey to Lake Toba. The travel is will be take around 7 to 8 hours and during
the journey you will stop at the waterfall Sipiso-piso, where you can enjoy a
spectacular view from the top of the hill. At noon continue journey to Lake
Toba, cross to Samosir Island from Parapat. Check in relax and enjoy the place
in here (Tuk Tuk Island).
Day Eight
In the morning after breakfast start tour around Samosir
Island. Visit the Ambarita village, then Simanindo to see Batak museum and
Batak traditional dance performance at 10:30 am. After the performance visit
another village to see sarong/ulos or Batak blanket maker. You can stop for
lunch before back to the accommodation in the afternoon. After the tour take a
rest or swim in the lake on your last day in Lake Toba.
Day Nine
Feel the wind in your hair and do as the locals do by hiring
a motorbike to explore this beautiful part of the world. If you’re on Samosir
Island, take the day to explore by taking a drive on the road running around
the edge of the island. Although rough and unpaved in places, this road offers
some spectacular views of the lake from the highest points on the island.
Because where you will stay is in the popular village of Tuk Tuk on Samosir,
the best way to get around here is to walk, or wander, down the main street at
a leisurely pace.
Day Ten
End the tour.
In morning after breakfast, start your journey back to Medan
(4 to 5 hours). Time permitting, you will have the opportunity to visit one of
Medan’s cultural highlights e.g. Maimun Palace, Great Mosque of Medan, Tjong A
Fie’s mansion, Marian Shrine of Annai Velangkanni or Maha Vihara Maitreya
Cemara Asri, before being dropped to the airport.
