Itinerary

Day One

Welcomed by our representative driver/guide at the airport or pick up at Medan hotel. Drive to Bukit Lawang, the place of Orangutans located in Gunung Leuser National Park through by landscape with vast view of palm oil and rubber plantation. En-route it’s possible to stop at rubber, oil palm and cacao plantations with some countryside landscape (optional). Arrive in Bukit Lawang, check in hotel. overnight stay in Bukit Lawang.

Days Two

After breakfast around 8am set up for five day trek ( See trekking itinerary ).

Days Three

Jungle trekking and overnight in the jungle.9 Days Tours Bukit Lawang National Park to Berastagi

Days Four

Jungle trekking and overnight in the jungle.

Days Five

Jungle trekking and other one night in the jungle.

Days Six

This day back from the jungle trek and stay one more night in Bukit Lawang.

Days Seven

After breakfast at 9 or 10am leave to Berastagi, the drive is will be 5 hours travel. On the journey we will stop for visit the Dokan village ( a traditional Karo Bataks village) also traditonal market, have lunch in a hill resto where you will have time to relax and drink fresh coconut juice or other juices. At day to late noon arrive in Berastagi, Check in at the hotel and take rest for the volcano tour in next day.

Days Eight

Early morning at 4am our guide will pick you up at the hotel and start the tour to the Sibayak volcano for see the beautiful of sunrise from the top of mountain. This time the breakfast is will be here on volcano . After a couple of hours stay to enjoy the view, and continue the tour trought to the numerous natural hot springs. At midday back to the Hotel and in the afternoon, we will pick you up again for have dinner in Local Restaurant to know how is it the Local culture of Karo Bataks Village.

Days Nine

Drop back to Medan airport or hotel (The journey takes 3-4 hours) time permitting, you will have the opportunity to visit one of Medan’s cultural highlights e.g. Maimun Palace, Great Mosque of Medan, Tjong A Fie’s mansion, Marian Shrine of Annai Velangkanni or Maha Vihara Maitreya Cemara Asri, before being dropped at the airport or your accommodation.
