Best Offer Activities 2 Days Bukit Lawang Tour
In this activity we will give you to visit and see life in
our village, visit the cave with various bats and blind kites, nesting on the
wall. You will really feel the different places and other animals there. This
is a good warm-up before a jungle trek.
Itinerary
Day One.
Pick-up from Medan Kuala Namu airport by private transport
with aircon and travel directly to Bukit Lawang (3-4 hours). Arrive, check inn
at hotel. Here you will have time to explore the village, visit the bat cave
(depending on your arrival time) or relax in the guesthouse for the remainder
of the day/evening.
Day Two.
After breakfast, our guide will pick up you at 8.30am
from guesthouse/Hotel in Bukit Lawang and you will start your journey
into the jungle of Gunung Leuser National Park to see wild orangutans and
thomas’ leaf monkey, white-handed gibbon, black gibbon, long-tailed macaque,
pig-tailed macaque, hornbills, peacocks and monitor lizards.
On 3 hours trek our guide will educate you on the local
wildlife, flora and fauna you may encounter in Gunung Leuser, and teach you
about the local trees/plants which can be used in traditional medicine. After
lunch, you will use walk back to your guesthouse in Bukit lawang from the
jungle. Here you have time to relax enjoy and shower at our place before travel
back to Medan.
Midday to late noon take travel back to airport or hotel.

Thing to bring during the trek :
A small backpack with raincoat, toilet paper, medicines,
camera + spare battery , insect repellent, sunblock.
Please make sure your luggage is as light as possible
(ideally under 10kg).
You will be provided with a 1.5L bottle of water for each
person.
Clothing : long sleeves/trousers are optional as there are
few mosquitos. Wearing something comfortable is most important.
Shoes : waterproof shoes with good grip/tread are essential
for slippery paths.
Other
You have a choice for your return down the river to go by
raft or by walking.
We can drive you back any part of Medan, including the
airport, if your flight is later than 8 pm.
We can also drive you on to Berastagi, or Lake Toba, at
additional cost.
