Itinerary
DAY 01 : MEDAN – LAKE TOBA – SAMOSIR ISLAND / 5 hrs drive +
1 hr by ferry
Arrive at Kuala Namu International Airport or Medan hotel.
Welcomed by our representative / driver / tour guide.
Proceed to Parapat lake Toba for 5-6 hours drive. During the travel can stop on
the way to get lunch. Today you drive along endless palm tree, rubber and cacao
plantations and through the historic city of Pematang Siantar. Arrive at
Parapat, a town on the shore of Serene Lake Toba from where you cross over the
lake to the island of Samosir. Check inn at accommodation.
DAY 02 : LAKE TOBA ( SAMOSIR ISLAND).
Day relax on the island.
Lake Toba is one of the awesome natural wonders of the
world. This enormous crater lake has an island almost the size of Singapore in
its centre. At over 1,145 square km, and a depth of 450 meters, Lake Toba is
actually more like an ocean. This is the largest lake in Southeast Asia and one
of the deepest lakes in the world.
Toba is a place to come and sit back, relax and absorb some
beautiful pristine scenery. As you sit and take in the view of the picturesque
mountains set against the cool clear lake from your accommodation, you will
feel the worries of the world melt away. As the lake sits 900 meters above sea
level there is a cooler climate here making a refreshing break from the heat,
humidity and pollution of the city.
Activities for feel the empty day on the island (Optional) :
COOKING CLASS Start at 15:00 pm, this will take around 3
hours for class. Food option Cicken rendang - Chicken Curry – vegetable curry -
Egg Sambal or Lodeh and other.
DAY 03 to DAY 06: LAKE TOBA
Island explore.
Feel the wind in your hair and do as the locals do by hiring
a motorbike to explore this beautiful part of the world. If you’re on Samosir
Island, take the day to explore by taking a drive on the road running around
the edge of the island. Although rough and unpaved in places, this road offers
some spectacular views of the lake from the highest points on the island.
Because where you will stay is in the popular village of Tuk Tuk on Samosir,
the best way to get around here is to walk, or wander, down the main street at
a leisurely pace.

At 9amin the morning, our guide will pick you up at the
accommodation and you will start your 1 day or 6 to 7 tour of the island,
visiting the traditional Batak house and experiencing the Batak culture of Lake
Toba. The tour will give you a memorable experience of the unspoilt part of
this island along with great highland views over Lake Toba. You will
discover the simple local lifestyle in a traditional Batak Toba village. And
you will return with impressions of Batak architecture, coffee growing
techniques and vistas of indigenous plants.

DAY 06 : LAKE TOBA –BERASTAGI/1 hr by ferry + 3 hrs drive.
Pick up at the Hotel/accommodation in Samosir island.
In the morning at 8 am start travel from Lake Toba to Bukit
Lawang. Along the way, we will be fast lot of nice view.we will stop for visit
the traditonal market, have lunch in a hill resto and and also visit the plunge
waterfall of Sipisopiso, where you will have time to swim, relax and drink
fresh coconut juice. At noon arrive in Berastagi and check inn at
accommodation.
DAY 07 : LAKE TOBA –BERASTAGI (Volcano tour).
Day tour to volcano and around Berastagi.
Berastagi, a tourist town, is another lovely town located in
Karo highlands. The town is known for its plantations and various kinds of
flowers, vegetables and fruit, most famous which is Marquisa passion fruit.
It's 66 km southwest of Medan and is 4.594 feet above sea level. There is a
pleasant colonial-style hotel with a golf course. Other new hotels can also be
found. From Gundaling Hill a clear view of Mt. Sibayak and Mt. Sinabung
volcanoes can be seen.
From this city, the visitors will enjoy charming scenery to
the active mountainside, which are Sibayak Mountain . on Sibayak Mountain you
could enjoy pretty scenery in these mountains and forest to see the nature
wealth inside, for both the flora and the fauna around this forest.
Volcano Tour
Our guide will pick you up from the hotel at 4.30am and
driven (1 hour) to the start of your trek. After a 1 hour hike you will reach
the top of the volcano for sunrise. After your hike back down, you will be
driven to a nearby hot spring, where you will have the chance to swim and
relax. At midday, your trip will continue with a visit to the traditional fruit
and souvenir market. After which you will be dropped back at your hotel and
will have free time to relax and explore your surroundings.

DAY 08 : BERASTAGI- BUKIT LAWANG/5 hours travel.
Transport + Hotel.
At 10am Pick-up from Berastagi hotel and travel by private
transport with aircon directly to Bukit Lawang (5 hours). At noon arrive in
Bukit Lawang, Check in at hotel and You will have time to explore the village
or relax in the hotel for the remainder of the day/evening.
DAY 09: BUKIT LAWANG.
Day relax Hotel/accommodation.
This sweet little town, 96km northwest of Medan, next to
dense Sumatran jungle, is built around the popularity of its orangutan-spotting
opportunities. But Bukit Lawang has much more to offer beyond our red-haired
cousins. It’s very easy to while away a few days lounging in hammocks, splashing
in the river and hiking in the jungle. The forests surrounding Bukit Lawang are
part of the vast Gunung Leuser National Park, which is one of the richest
tropical-forest ecosystems in the world. The park as a whole is home to eight
species of primate plus tigers, rhinos, elephants and leopards. However, aside
from orangutans, gibbons, various macaque species and the elusive Thomas leaf
monkey, you’d have to be very lucky to see any other large mammals here, as
oil-palm plantations extend right up to the edge of the village.
In 1973 a Swiss organization set up an orangutan
rehabilitation center in Bukit Lawang. The purpose of the center was to
rehabilitate orangutans released from captivity. The rangers at the center
teach the orangutan all the necessary skills to survive in the wild. After an
intense period of quarantine, readjustment to the natural habitat and
reintegration in the (semi-)wild population, the orangutan is released back
into the jungle. All orangutans released are still monitored by the rangers and
they still provide them with supplementary food at the feeding platform until
they become fully self reliant. Out of this project the Sumatra Orangutan
Conservation Programme (SOCP) was founded.
DAY 10: BUKIT LAWANG – LEUSER NATIONAL PARK/ 6 to 7 hours
trek.
Start of 2 Days overnight jungle trekking.
At 09:00am after breakfast, our guide will pick
you up from the hotel and you will start your journey into the jungle of
Gunung Leuser National Park to see wild orangutans. During the journey, your
guide will educate you on the local wildlife, flora and fauna you may encounter
in Gunung Leuser. After lunch, you will continue your trek to see other
wildlife (if you’re lucky you may see the Thomas’ leaf monkey, white-handed
gibbon, black gibbon, long-tailed macaque, pig-tailed macaque, hornbills,
peacocks and monitor lizards) and learn about the trees/plants which can be
used in traditional medicine.
Late afternoon-your guide will select a suitable spot next
to the river to set-up camp. You are then free to enjoy the fresh water of the
Bohorok river, swim, help prepare dinner, or even go fishing.
After dinner, weather permitting, our team will prepare a
bonfire and the guides will entertain you with their jungle skills, games and
songs before you settle down to sleep surrounded by the sounds of the jungle
and river.
DAY 11: LEUSER NATIONAL PARK - BUKIT LAWANG/ 3 hours trek +
1 hour tube rafting back.
Back from jungle trekking.
Continue your jungle adventure, spotting wildlife. After 3
hours journey in the jungle, your guide will take you to a waterfall where you
can swim and relax. After lunch, you will leave the campsite by traditional
rafting boat (‘jungle style’) following the river downstream to the village and
directly to the village. Afternoon/evening-free time to relax at the hotel.
DAY 12: BUKIT LAWANG.
Day relax Hotel/accommodation + Day trip.
Bukit Lawang is a small riverside village located near the
mountains of the Gunung Leuser National Park. It only takes an hour to walk
around the village, so if you’re feeling more adventurous you may visiting the
surrounding villages such us traditional market, local culture, hill view and
other.

DAY 13: BUKIT LAWANG.

5 hours drive + 1 hours flight + hotel in Banda Aceh.
At 09:00am start travel to Medan and take flight to Banda
Aceh with Lion Air at 14:50pm. And at 15:55pm arrive in Banda aceh, pick up
from here and travel 30 minutes to the hotel. Check in and Offer night

DAY 15 : BANDA ACEH – WEH ISLAND.
3 hours high light tour + 1 hour ferry.
In the morning pick up at 08:00am from hotel and followed by
Banda Aceh city tour (Aceh Tsunami Museum, PLTD Apung Ship, Baiturrahman Banda
Aceh Mosque and Ship Above Lampulo House), Souvenir Shopping Souvenirs typical
Aceh, Typical Aceh Lunch (available chicken catch, beef jerky, goat curry,
etc).
At 11:30 am after the tour, take travel directly to the
harbor Ulee Lheu B.Aceh. The ferry for cross to the weh island will be leave
around 12:00 to 01:00pm.
At 02 :00 pm arrival in Sabang Weh island, drive from Sabang
harbor (Pulau Weh) to the Hotel Ecoresort (30 min) Check in to your hotel on
Weh Island. you will stay in Bungalow with view right on the beach, fan,
bathroom, balcony.
DAY 16 To DAY 22 : WEH ISLAND.
Explore the island.
Spend days of leisure time on Pulau Weh at Sumur Tiga
relaxing, swimming, snorkelling, diving, Kayaking and explore the island. You
are also able to visit the famous Iboih Coral Garden and to Kilometer Zero, the
northernmost point of the Indonesian archipelago.
Situated at the entrance way of the Malacca Strait, Weh
Island is naturally untouched despite its small size and convenient access. It
is another garden often forgotten. Diving in Weh Island is a well established
recreational activity. Dive masters and dive instructors are ready to offer a
variety of dive sites like the fabled Sea Garden in Rubiah Island. You'll find
many delightful sea creatures, most notably manta rays, whale sharks, dolphins
and sea turtles. Come and enjoy a swing on a shady hammock by the high tide hut
in an island that many divers call it the unparalleled underwater universe.
Although it is a small island, it gives you the sea experience and waterfall up
in the rain forest as well.
DAY 22 : FREDDIES RESORT - SABANG AIRPORT.
30 Minutes drive + 1 half hours flight.
After breakfast transport drive from Hotel to Sabang
airport, Check inn and take flight from here.
