Option 1-Bohorok River (Suitable for all levels)

Suitable for all, this tour is more of a gentle, leisurely rafting experience, with a few gentle rapids thrown in for good measure, allowing you time to lie back and enjoy the stunning scenery around you. Rafting adventures bukit lawang day tour

 

Starting at your guesthouse in Bukit Lawang, you will raft approximately 12 kms downstream, for 3-4 hours, stopping along the way for a BBQ lunch on the riverbank. Option 2 - Wampu River (Level 3) Rafting adventures bukit lawang day tour

You begin your rafting tour in the small village of Marike in Langkat, about an hours drive from Bukit Lawang. Along the way, you will visit hot springs on the riverbank, only accessible by boat, as well as a cascading waterfall where you will have time to swim and relax. This is a full day tour including lunch, time spent at the attractions, and 4-5 hours rafting along 25 kms of river with more challenging rapids.

Option 3 - Asahan River (Level 5) Rafting adventures bukit lawang day tour

Itinerary Rafting adventures bukit lawang day tour :

 

Day 1-Transfer to Asahan Rafting adventures bukit lawang day tour

 

At 8.30am, your guide will collect you from your guesthouse in Bukit Lawang and you will spend the day travelling by aircon car to Asahan. The journey normally takes around 10 hours so you will stop regularly for breaks and lunch. On arrival, you will be dropped at your homestay where you will have spare time to relax and explore before starting your adventure on the river the following day.

 

 

 

Day 2-Rafting Asahan Bottom Line Rafting adventures bukit lawang day tour

 

After breakfast, start your big day on the river at Parhitean Village, a 1 hour 30 minute drive from your homestay.

 

After your team has prepared the raft and equipment, you will be given be a full safety demonstration and instruction, before being driven to the start of your rafting adventure.

 

Experience 2 -3 hours of whitewater rafting with our professional guide and teams, paddling through challenging waves as you cross Rapid Batu Mamak, and more natural waves at Bedeng, passing beautiful waterfalls along the way. Enjoy lunch together with your guide and teams on the riverbank of the first camp. After you’ve finished your trip, you will be driven back to Parhitean Village to your homestay where you will have time to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Day 3-Rafting Asahan Upper Line

 

After breakfast, you will be driven to the upper course of the Asahan river (The International Competition Line).​

 

After your team has prepared the raft and equipment, you will be given be a full safety demonstration and instruction. You will then start your real adventure and feel the power of the river as you raft for 1 hour/3 kms through extreme rapids, finishing at Simatupang Camp, where you will enjoy lunch before being driven back to your accommodation/airport in Medan.
