Day One
Pick-up from Medan Kuala Namu airport by private transport
with aircon and travel directly to Bukit Lawang (3-4 hours). You will have time
to explore the village, visit the bat cave (depending on your arrival time) or
relax in the guesthouse for the remainder of the day/evening.
Days Two
After breakfast at 9am begin walk to the jungle for four-day
trekking adventure in Mount Leuser National park. (see jungle trek column).

Days Five
Conclude your adventure with a short trek, before rafting
‘jungle style’ down the Bohorok river to the village in Bukit Lawang, passing
beautiful green hills stretching alongside the river. If you’re lucky, you may
also spot groups of monkeys in the trees, monitor lizards and much more.
Days Six
After breakfast around 7-8 am get ready for one day white
water rafting (for the itinerary see white water rafting column) in afternoon
after the trip finish back to hotel (Bukit Lawang).

Private car/transportation from Bukit Lawang to Medan
(airport or hotel).
